Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 July 2026
This privacy policy explains how I, Jacqueline Roberts trading as The Advance 45:2, collect, store, and use personal data when you visit this website, submit an inquiry, apply to join the professional network, or subscribe to the blog.
I take confidentiality seriously. I only collect what is necessary, keep it secure, and never sell or share personal data for marketing purposes.
1. Data I collect
Depending on how you interact with the site, I may collect the following:
- Inquiry data: name, email address, phone number, WhatsApp details, and anything you choose to tell me about your situation through the confidential inquiry form.
- Professional applications: name, email address, profession, organisation, and the details you provide when applying to join the network.
- Blog subscribers: email address and the date you subscribed to receive blog updates.
- Website usage data: anonymised page views, scroll depth, CTA clicks, entry pages, device type, and approximate location. This is collected via privacy-first analytics and is not personally identifiable.
- Admin data: when I am signed into the admin dashboard, session and account data required to protect access and manage records.
2. How I collect data
Most data is provided directly by you when you fill in a form, book a call, subscribe to the blog, or contact me by email or WhatsApp.
Website usage data is collected automatically through privacy-first analytics that does not use cookies, cross-site tracking, or persistent personal identifiers. Admin access is protected by password and multi-layer security.
3. How I use your data
I use personal data only for the purposes for which it was provided:
- To respond to inquiries and assess whether I can help.
- To coordinate cases, introduce professionals, and maintain records during an engagement.
- To review professional applications and manage the referral network.
- To send blog updates to subscribers who have opted in.
- To understand how the website is used so I can improve clarity and navigation.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and protect the integrity of the site.
4. How I store and protect data
All data is stored in secure, encrypted backend systems provided by Lovable Cloud. Access to inquiry records, professional applications, blog subscribers, and website usage data is restricted to me as the administrator. No other user can view this information.
I use encrypted email for direct correspondence, and I limit the personal data I hold to what is strictly necessary. Administrative access is protected by authentication and the site does not allow public sign-ups.
5. Who has access
I do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. I only share information with third parties where it is necessary to deliver the service you have asked for — for example, introducing you to a trusted professional with your consent — or where I am legally required to do so.
Backend service providers may process data on my behalf under strict confidentiality and data-protection obligations, but they do not use it for their own purposes.
6. Analytics and cookies
This site uses Plausible, a privacy-first analytics service that does not rely on cookies or track you across the web. It records aggregated, anonymised information such as which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and what devices are used. It does not collect IP addresses, personal identifiers, or browsing history across other sites.
7. How long I keep data
I keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law. Inquiry and engagement data is retained for the duration of the engagement and a reasonable period afterwards to comply with professional and legal obligations. Blog subscriber data is kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
8. Your rights under GDPR
If you are in the UK, EU, or another jurisdiction with data-protection rights, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
- Right to access: you can ask what personal data I hold about you.
- Right to rectification: you can ask me to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure: you can ask me to delete your personal data in certain circumstances.
- Right to restrict processing: you can ask me to limit how I use your data.
- Right to object: you can object to processing, including direct marketing.
- Right to data portability: you can ask for your data in a structured, commonly used format.
- Right to withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact me at TheAdvance45.2@proton.me. I will respond as quickly as possible and always within the time required by law.
9. International transfers
Backend services may process data in jurisdictions outside the UK or EU. Where this happens, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent legal mechanisms required by data-protection law.
10. Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in how I work or in legal requirements. The latest version will always be available on this page.
